DAY 4 - Saturday, June 19, 2027 Juneteenth Celebration
Today, we honor Juneteenth from the soil of Ghana — a place where memory, resilience, and return meet in a powerful full-circle moment.
This day will be dedicated to reflecting on the long journey from enslavement to freedom, while celebrating the enduring spirit, creativity, and joy of people of African descent across the diaspora. the experience may include cultural celebrations, public gatherings, storytelling, music, food, remembrance ceremonies, historical reenactments, or moments of quiet reflection connected to the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. Our intention remains the same: to honor those who came before us, celebrate the freedom they dreamed of, and stand together in Ghana as family — remembering, reclaiming, and rejoicing.
