Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Land of Warm Smiles - Your Ghanaian Journey Starts Here in Accra
Your journey begins with your arrival in Ghana. After checking into your accommodation, take some time to settle in and relax after your journey.
In the evening, join the rest of the group for welcome remarks and dinner with all attendees. This will be a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and discuss the exciting days ahead. Don't forget to try some of the local delicacies!
Day 2: Accra Unveiled - Journey Through Ghana's Historic Legacy!
Morning Activities:
- Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Museum: Begin your day at this iconic site, honoring Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana's visionary first president. Walk through the striking mausoleum and museum, filled with artifacts and exhibits tracing Ghana's fight for independence.
- Black Star Square & Arts Center: Visit the Independence Arch at Black Star Square—a symbol of Ghana's sovereignty. Then, dive into creativity at the nearby Arts Center, where local artisans showcase handwoven kente cloth, hand-carved masks, beads, and more.
- W.E.B. Du Bois Center: Step into the preserved home of the legendary Pan-African scholar and civil rights activist. Learn about his influence on Black empowerment and global movements.
Afternoon: Relax & Unwind at Labadi Beach. Head to Labadi Beach (La Pleasure Beach), Accra's liveliest shoreline, where local drummers and dancers bring high-energy performances, horseback rides along the shore offer unique views, and golden sunset views over the ocean create the perfect end to your day.
Evening: Optional nightlife at venues like +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, Skybar 25, Santoku, or traditional cultural drumming and dance show at Afrikiko.

Day 3: African Ancestral Heritage Experience

Begin your pilgrimage at the sacred Assin Manso Ancestral River, where enslaved Africans took their final bath on native soil before being forced onto slave ships. Midday - Cape Coast Castle: Echoes of the Past
Travel to the haunting Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant slave trade forts. Stand before the "Door of No Return," the final threshold where captives were taken, never to see their homeland again.

Following this enchanting experience, embark on a scenic journey to the breathtaking Wli Falls, the highest waterfall in West Africa. Enjoy the stunning views and the refreshing mist as you take a leisurely hike to the falls. After soaking in the natural beauty, you will return to Accra, reminiscing about your adventurous day in the Volta Region.
Day 7: Aburi Paradise Picnic
Picnic in the Mountains and ATV Riding
