Welcome to Zanzibar

Welcome to the beautiful Tanzania, located in East Africa! Airport pick up will be provided and you will be taken to your Hotel.

Settle in and enjoy the new environment.

Tonight you will be hosted to a welcome dinner.

DAY 2

Historic Stone Town, Spice Tour

This tour provides you with the opportunity to find out why Zanzibar is known

as the “Spice Island”. Your tour guide will walk you through the spices farms

where you will not only see, smell but also taste a variety of spices and learn

how they are grown. This was one of the world’s largest producers of

cardamon, cloves and nutmeg in the 19th century.

You will then continue your day in the Capital city of Zanzibar in the Island of

Unguja with a unique historic centre Stone Town which is a UNESCO World

Heritage Site. This has amazing old ruin houses of the Ottoman Empire and

strong huge doors that were used in the 1990’s. You will also learn about the history of the East African slave trade.

This tour will end with a boat ride from Stone town to Prison Island. This is where slaves were transported through.

What to take: comfortable walking shoes and a hat and some money to buy

souvenirs, spices or painting or local part.

Meals Provided: Breakfast & Lunch in a Local Restaurant & Fruit Tasting

You will then continue your day in the Capital city of Zanzibar in the Island of

Unguja with a unique historic centre Stone Town which is a UNESCO World

DAY 3

Mnemba Island

This boat trip offers the best experience of Coral reefs in the world. You will head to Mnemba Island for snorkelling. This is an island purchased by Bill Gates.

Fruits and soft drinks will be provided in the boat.

For every snorkeller the coral garden is home to many species of aquarium fish

and stunning soft and hard coral. A snorkel guide is also in the water pointing

out anything of interest. Life jackets and Snorkel gears will be provided. And for those who cannot swim, you will be supported.

What to take: A lot of sun cream, hats, swimming costume and towel.

DAY 4

Kuza Cave &The Rock Resturant

On this beautiful day we will visit one of Zanzibar's best kept secrets Kuza Cave, an ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal clear turquoise fresh water. You won't want to leave.

There is easy access to the large light-filled circular cave and an area with a large shaded area where you can buy food and drinks while enjoying some good live performances. The area around the cave is a peaceful nature preserve for wildlife that includes Red Colobus Monkeys, colourful butterflies, many birds, chindi and bush babies.

We will make a stop to check out the restaurant that is surrounded by water most part of the yaar. The Rock restaurant rises a short distant from the shore of the beautiful Michanwi Pingwe beach.

DAY 5

Full Day Resort Experience

Take today for yourself and use as you wish. You can book a Spa or check out other hidden gems on the island.

For those interested in busines and potential realestate join an optional tour to Fumba Town to see the beautiful new development in Zanzibar. Especially for those who wish to live in Zanzibar or own a holiday home.

Later today we will enjoy a sunset cruise with some music along the way.

DAY 6

Safari Blue Experience

You will be taken to Fumba from the hotel, and from there you

will board on the traditional dhow boat to enjoy the magic of isolated

sandbanks and rugged Island, the full day sailing around the Mangroves and

snorkelling along some of the best coral reefs.

Safari blue is a full day boat trip on a traditional sailing boat, (Dhow). Safari

blue explores the Menai bay conservation area which is home to two

different species of dolphins: - the indoor-pacific humper-back and the

bottlenose, you will also see different types of birds.

Lunch is served on the Island enjoy a traditional beach-buffet with Sea food

BBQ and tasting of exotic fruits.

What to take: A lot of sun cream, hats, swimming costume and towel, aqua

shoes.

WOW!!!!!! Let's just say, it would be very difficult to verbalize how great our trip was as a result of booking with Certified Africa. My wife and I are avid travelers, touching 16 countries so far. I enjoyed the history of Tanzania. Learning things that I would have never known had I not visited. The people were so welcoming, appreciative, respectful, friendly. That image isn't painted in the states so my wife and I wasn't sure what to expect from the locals. But we were treated extremely nice. That was refreshing. We enjoyed the food. Almost every meal was delicious and flavorful. The spices were amazing. The boat rides, the beach, the shows at night. It was by far my favorite trip.

What did I enjoy? First, the destination was exquisite and top notch , the Resort was 5 Star, all inclusive, food was delicious on my palate, the people who participated were friendly, helpful, encouraging and overall awesome, the staff coordinated activities, photos, transportation, tours and daily events were simply phenomenal!!!!!!

What is the Cancellation policy for this experience?

All flight payments are non refundable. You have 48 hours from the time of booking to cancel a travel experience for a refund minus an administrative fee. After 48hours, the travel experience deposit - and all future payments - are non-refundable. We highly recommend you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes trip cancellation coverage. After booking, select a travel insurance option that includes a "Cancel for Any Reason" option to cover your non-refundable travel experience and/or flight. Trip cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for non-refundable expenses should you cancel your trip for any reason, whether voluntarily or as a result of Certified Africa's actions.

If you are unable to travel for some reason and you cannot apply a travel insurance cancellation policy, the transfer of your travel experience booking to another person is available.

Transfers of flight arrangements are not available.

Are payment plans available and how do they work?

As a courtesy, we offer payment plans for our trips. Your monthly payments start the following month after booking on the same day you paid your deposit. A monthly payment of the minimum amount due is required each month via debit. You may contact us to change your payment date after booking prior to 72 hours of your payment date.
